How do I host on Warcraft 3 RoC?

I have recently been trying to change the ports on my internet connection to host Warcraft 3: Reign of Chaos on my laptop. I use a NETGEAR WNRv2000 Router. I visited my router page and opened the ports, but it still does not work. I have also tried to make firewall rules, with no success. What do i do about this? If it is about having a static ip address, please share some info on that. I only get an ip of 10.0.0.2 when i use my router.
